Admission Policy

Registration

Registration process for classes other than F.A, F.Sc. will start in February so as to hold admission test in March, every year. After the completion of admission process, classes will start in the month of April. All admissions are made on the basis of merit, determined through a written test in English, Math’s, G. Science and Urdu. Admissions to F.A, F.Sc classes will take place after the declaration of results, usually in July/August.

 Age Limit

Subject to the academic competence of students, the minimum age limits for admission to the different classes will be as given below: -

Admission Requirements:

Applications for admission should be given on prescribed admission form.

Required documents as mentioned on admission form.

Syllabus for the Admission Test:

Admission test is given from the Syllabus of one class below the class for which admission is sought i.e. if a candidate seeks admission in class VI, he/she will be given admission test from the course of Class V and so on.

Admission on Merit

The admission shall be granted on merit. Number of candidates to be granted admission will be determined in accordance with vacancies available in each class. The parents are advised not to pull out their sons / daughters from the previous schools, until they receive written confirmation about their admission in POHSS schools.
